Image Your Story Summer Reading Program at the Library

Registration has begun on the library’s web page for the Imagine Your Story 2020 Summer Reading Program.
Children ages 4 to 12 become the hero in a story that unfolds as they log online the time they spend reading, being read to, or listening to audio books. Children quest through the Enchanted Forest, encounter dragons, unicorns, and other magical beings to see if they can reach the royal castle in the kingdom of Readsalot and earn digital badges along the way. Children who read for 17 hours or more will be knighted by the King and Queen of Readsalot.
Parents can also register for an Early Literacy Summer Reading Program for children 0-3. Adults read aloud to the child and log the time spent reading. Read to your child for 10 hours over the summer by August 4th to complete the program. Earn digital badges and uncover early literacy tips along the way - things you can do at home to engage your child in reading.
