βA lot of people say politics is tough and it can be,β Coakley says in her announcement. βI know what itβs like to lose a race. I know how hard that is. But you know what, itβs nothing compared to what so many people go through every day in their lives. And thatβs what Iβll keep in mind everyday if you give me the privilege of being your governor. Iβll never stop fighting because I know this, youβll never stop fighting either."
Coakley is expected to make more than a dozen campaign stops across the state over the next few days.
