Make A Wish Grants a Needham Dream

Sometimes when you wish on a star, a foundation is listening.

The Make A Wish foundation recently granted the wish of a seven-year-old in Needham, Hometown Weekly reports. 

Earlier this month, at the home of young Rachel Shavor, Pennsylvania-based Home Place Structures set up a new playhouse in her backyard in the wee hours of a Saturday morning. That afternoon, she was in her backyard grinning ear-to-ear. 

“We just thought that it would be nice for somebody with special needs, specifically her seizure disorder, to have something to play with because its hard for her to find things that she enjoys,” Shannon Shavor, her mother, told Hometown Weekly. “The hope is to fill it with all the things that she really likes to play with and…just have something for her to do. She spends a lot of time in the house not knowing what she wants to play with.”
