Multiple Vandalisms Keep Needham Police on the Move
Police are investigating after several cars and a mailbox were vandalized.

Multiple reports of vandalism have kept Needham police quite busy over the past few days.
Hereβs a look at what officers have been dealing with across town:
Nov. 6, 2015: At approximately 10:13 p.m. an officer responded to a Greendale Ave. residence for a report of vandalism to a vehicle. The rear window of the vehicle had been smashed in. The reporting party did not see or hear anything to indicate when the vandalism may have happened or who may have done it. A check of the area for further damage yielded no results. There are no suspects at this time.

Nov. 8, 2015: At approximately 2:00 a.m., while conducting a security check of a Cabot St. address, an officer encountered two vehicles with damage resulting from vandalism. Based on the ensuing investigation, a bylaw citation was issued to a Newton man for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. At this time no charges are being sought in connection with the vandalism and the case remains under investigation.
Nov. 8, 2015: At approximately 12:30 p.m., an officer was dispatched to a Cedar St. address for a report of property damage. The reporting party stated that some time over night her mailbox had been damaged. The reporting party was advised to contact her insurance company so that she may have her mail box replaced.
