Needham DPW Get Ready For Christmas Rains
The Needham DPW is advising residents on what to do if trees fall during the expected holiday storm.
NEEDHAM, MA — The Needham Department of Public Works is getting ready for heavy rains and helping residents get ready as well.
Forecasters are calling for heavy rains coupled up with strong winds on Christmas Eve night that will linger into early Christmas morning. The Needham DPW is reminding residents, if there are catch basins in your neighborhood to check that they are free of any leaves, trash or debris. This will help prevent potential flooding and enable storm water to be collected.
If there are catch basins in your neighborhood that are heavily impacted and not draining properly you can report them online.
