Needham Football Advances to Second Round of Playoffs
The Rockets advanced to the second round of the MIAA playoffs Friday night with a win over King Philip.
The Needham High School varsity football team knocked off King Philip 24-0 Friday night. In victory, Needham advanced to the second round of the MIAA tournament.
The Rockets upped their record to 6-2 on the season, picking their sixth consecutive win.
Needham will next play on Nov. 6 against either Wellesley or Braintree.
