The Needham Rockets varsity football team narrowly edged Wellesley Thursday morning in a Thanksgiving Day showdown at Fenway Park.
In what was a defensive battle, the Rockets outlasted the Raiders, winning 12-7.

The victory capped off a successful 2015 season for the Rockets. They finished the year with an 8-3 record, having won eight of their last nine games.
Wellesley finished the season with a record of 7-5.
