Needham High School Named Top 25 School By Boston Magazine

NEEDHAM, MA — Needham High School made the top 25 of Boston Magazine's recent rankings of public high schools in the area. Using data from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Boston Magazine's team compiled the best public schools that are within, or partially within, I-495.

Needham finished 21st out of the 149 schools that were ranked. The rankings were determined by factors such as SAT scores, student-teacher ratios, graduation rates, according to the magazine.

Who did the best according to Boston Magazine? Dover-Sherborn Regional high school came in at number one. Many schools in the area ranked in the top 25.

• Newton South High School came in ranked as No. 11.
• Brookline High School was No. 19.
• Wellesley High School came in at No. 9
• Newton North High School came in at No. 24.
