Needham, Norwood Drug Bust Uncovers Over 800 Grams Of Drugs
A Boston man was arrested in Norwood and is accused of distributing drugs in MetroWest towns including Needham.
NEEDHAM, MA β Needham and Norwood police worked with several police agencies on a drug bust in Norwood on Thursday that led to the arrest of a Boston man and the seizure of several drugs, cash and cars.
An investigation involving the Norfolk County Police Anti-Crime Task Force (NORPAC), The Massachusetts State Police, Norfolk County Sherriffβs K9, Stoneham Police Department and the Northern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force and several search warrants led to the arrest of a 47-year-old Boston man.
The man is facing drug trafficking and possession charges. Both cocaine and Fentanyl were found in his possession. Police said there were over 800 grams of drugs, about $20,000 and five cars among the jurisdictions.

The man will face additional narcotics charges in Middlesex County as well as Possession of a False RMV Document and Identity Fraud charges in Norfolk County. The investigation also uncovered that he had several warrants for motor vehicle and narcotic related offenses under different aliases.
Police said the man was actively distributing narcotics in Metro-West area towns including Needham.
