Needham Police Log: More Eggs, Driveway Nap and More!

Friday, Sept 20
- A Webster Green resident reported her car was hit while parked behind her apartment sometime over night. The report was taken at about 10:45 a.m.
- Police are investigating a woman whose information was compromised by a telemarketing scam, a Gould Street resident who came into the station at about 6:15 p.m.Β
- A fight in progress was reported at the Tedeschi on Garden Street a few minutes before midnight. When they arrived, police determined that the fight was a verbal one and cleared the parties involved from the scene.Β
- At about 3:15 p.m., police took a report who said her house was egged overnight. There was no damage to the house, and the eggs were washed off. Police did not have a description of the suspect.Β
- Police were dispatched to a Highland Terrace home because of a report of a woman yelling for help. The Needham Fire Department and Police responded to the scene and reportedly found a woman lying on the driveway. They placed a 64-year-old Newton woman, Elisabeth HughesΒ in protective custody, and transported her to Beth Israel Needham. While in the ambulance, she punched a Needham paramedic, and kicked a police officer in the face. She was later charged with disturbing the peace, and assault-and-battery of a police officer and ambulance personnel.Β The resident of the home, a 59-year-old man, was put in protective custody was put in protective custody.Β
- It was about 11 p.m. when police were sent to a larceny at a Linden Street residence, where the resident said someone went into her home and took her prescription medicines. The resident wanted the incident logged.Β
- 3 p.m., police responded to a report of a broken rear driver's side window. Police say the damage appeared to be weather-related.Β
- A resident of Linden Street reported, at about 1:30 p.m., that someone had keyed her car.Β
- At about 2:15 p.m., a cyclist riding on Great Plain Avenue fell off his bike. The man was taken to Beth Israel Hospital with minor injuries.Β
- Police arrested and charged 20-year-old Hillcrest Road resident Timothy Stetson with domestic assault-and-battery at about 9 p.m. at his residence.Β
