Needham Police Log: Rash of Car Breaks, and More

• A Richdale Road resident reported that a Garmin GPS was taken from their vehicle, along with $30 in cash, during a breaking-and-entering incident involving two cars. Police took a report at about 8:30 a.m., and will investigate the incident. 
• Central Avenue and Oxbow Road, 3:15 p.m., personal injury crash reported involving a car and a motorcycle. The motorcyclist was taken to Beth Israel Needham with minor, non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the car was cited for failing to yield to oncoming traffic. 
• A Greendale Avenue resident reported that, sometime overnight, her vehicle was broken into and some items were taken. She contacted police at about 3:15 p.m.
• 4 p.m., police respond to Nevada Street, where a resident reported that, sometime overnight, two unlocked vehicles in the driveway were broken into. A wallet, a camera, a GPS and gift cards worth about $520 were taken. Police are investigating the matter. 

• Graffiti reported in the Hillside Elementary School parking lot at around noon. 
• Two-car crash reported near the intersection of Greendale Avenue and Highgate Street. At around 4:30 p.m., police learned that the driver of one of the vehicles, a 27-year-old Taunton man, was driving on a suspended license. He was summonsed to Dedham District Court for driving on a suspended license and failing to use care while turning. 
• Rolling Lane, 5 p.m., called to report a handful of harassing phone calls they had received. Police advised the homeowner on how to proceed. 
• 5:15 p.m., police pulled over a driver of a vehicle at the intersection of Great Plain Avenue and Marked Tree Road. THe driver, a 42-year-old man from West Wareham was cited for driving after a revocation of insurance, and will be summonsed to Dedham Court.
