The new Mariott Hotel in Needham is welcoming guests, and welcomed Needham for a grand opening ceremony on Thursday. 

Numerous members of the Needham Business Association, and business community, as well as some members of the Needham Board of Selectmen were in attendance. 

The ever-hospitable hotel staff rolled out hors d'ouvres, a three-piece jazz band, and raffled off a one-night stay at a number of local hotels--as well as a set of Patriots tickets. 

The hotel has been open for about three weeks, and is located on B Street in Needham.
