New Needham Mask Initiative Asks 'Who Do You Wear A Mask For?'
The multimedia campaign highlights the importance of proper mask procedure in slowing and stopping the spread of COVID-19.
NEEDHAM, MA β The town of Needham along with Needham Public Schools are trying to get people to think twice before removing masks in public with a new multimedia campaign.
The campaign, titled #NeedhamMaskChallenge, asks residents "Who do you wear a mask for," and attempts to illustrate the importance of proper face mask procedure in slowing and stopping the spread of COVID-19. Residents are encouraged to share their answers to whom they "mask-up" for on social media along with a masked-up selfie.
The public awareness campaign includes a 30-second animated video that will be blasted over town and school social media accounts. The video follows an animated Needham High School student who unknowingly spreads COVID-19 to friends and family when he doesn't wear a mask.
