Sign Your Pup Up for the Needham Dog Show

Think you have a handsome hound, or the pup with the waggiest tail in town? 

Prove it: enter your pup in the Needham Family Dog Show, which will be at the Quarry at Claxton Field on Sunday, Oct. 6. The show, sponsored by the Needham Dog Park Working Group, runs from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. The show is still looking for dogs to compete. 

There are a few stipulations, such as all dogs having valid licenses with them, and they need to be kept on a leash. The dogs must be at least 4 months old, and they don't want any female dogs in season to come. Any children 15 and under must be accompanied by parent. If you have props, you will need to carry them for the dog, too.

THe cost to enter is $20 per dog, and goes up to $25 on the day of the show If you're entering two dogs, it'll run $10 for each additional canine companion. Checks should be payable to “Town of Needham” with “dog park” in the memo line.
