State Police Chase Suspect Up I-95 From Needham To Waltham
Police tried to pull the person over for driving erratically but ended up chasing the truck into Waltham.
NEEDHAM, MA — A police chase starting in Needham on I-95 on Friday ended in the driver's arrest in Waltham. State police said they were trying to pull the truck over after noticing it drive erratically.
Starting on I-95 north in Needham, state police said the chase led officers into Waltham where they were able to stop the truck. The man refused to get out of the truck, state police said. Troopers had to force him out and the passenger's side window to the truck was shattered — a few troopers suffered minor injuries, police said.
Drugs were found in the car. Before being booked the driver was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Two lanes on I-95 north were closed due to the incident.
The department praised the troopers on duty, tweeting, "Great job getting dangerous driver off busy road before he hurt someone."
