Needham veterans currently enrolled in the VA Health Care Systems can now receive the COVID-19 vaccine from the Federal government.

To be eligible, veterans must:
- be 65 years of age or older and
- at high risk of becoming severely ill with COVID-19.
The VA will follow current Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines to determine risk levels.

VA Health Care staff members will contact eligible veterans by telephone or mail to schedule vaccines. Please do not call the Health Department.
If you are a veteran but do not receive health care benefits from the VA, you are not eligible to be vaccinated through this program. Veterans who would like to enroll in the VA Health Care Systems should call 1-877-222- VETS (8387) or apply through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
