Two Needham Schools Listed In Top 100 MA Schools For 2020

St. Sebastian's School and Needham High School made it onto Niche's list of the top 100 schools in the state.

NEEDHAM, MA β€” Two Needham schools were listed among the top 100 schools in Massachusetts. Niche.com released the list that includes both private and public elementary, middle and high schools. St. Sebastian's School and Needham High School both made the cut.

Whether a school finished first or 100th, there's not really a bad spot on the list. They all received A+ grades from Niche.

St. Sebastian's School was ranked 41st and is an all-boys Catholic high school. The school has 375 students, with an average class size of 11 and a student/faculty ratio of 7 to 1. St. Sebastian's has a 100 percent graduation rate and an average SAT score of 1350, according to Niche.

Niche also ranked the school highly in the areas of best Catholic high schools in the state, best all-boys high schools in the state and best high schools for STEM in the state.

Yearly tuition to the school is $48,625.

Needham High School ranked 66th. It has 1,659 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 14 to 1. According to state test scores, 95 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 99 percent in reading. The average graduation rate for the school is 98 percent with an average SAT score of 1290.

Niche also ranked the school highly in the areas of best high schools for athletes in the state, best public high schools in the state and best public high school teachers in the state.
