'Unselfish And Spiritual': Mother's Day Photos

NEEDHAM, MA—Whether it's through his or her personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, a daughter or son becomes a reflection of the woman who raised that child. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across Massachusetts to share their "mother-daughter" or "mother-son" lookalike photos.

It doesn't matter how old the kids are; they'll always be your babies!

Braintree resident Caroline O'Gara sent in this wonderful photo of she and her mom Eileen O'Connor, who is from Needham. The photo was taken in July of 2017 in O'Connor's hometown of Mweenish Island, Carna, Connemara, County Galway, Ireland.

My mom is the greatest because she is always there for her family. She is a beautiful, unselfish and spiritual woman. She is also a wonderful "Mamo" to her grandchildren.
