WATCH: Needham's Blue Light Tree Lighting Tradition Continues

NEEDHAM, MA — Lots of community traditions were postponed due to COVID-19 prevention and concerns but Needham's Blue Light Tree Lighting continued this year, safely.

On Friday evening, the Common trees lit up with bright white light, in announcement of the lighting of the Blue Tree lights. Although the transition was not attended by the many residents and performers of years past, a hardworking team of dedicated individuals came together to commemorate this event by collaborating on the following Blue Tree Lighting video.

The town is encouraging residents to donate to the Toys for Tots bin at the Town Hall.
