Chestnut Hill Del Frisco's Grille To Close
The chain appears to be closing a handful of locations, including both the Burlington and Chestnut Hill locations in the Boston area.

CHESTNUT HILL, MA β Del Friscoβs Grille at the Street in Chestnut Hill is set to close its doors for the last time Sunday, Oct 20, the company announced Monday night. The closure was first reported by Boston Restaurant Talk.
"We have made the difficult decision to close," a representative confirmed to Patch.
The company also announced its Burlington Del Frisco's Grille would also be closing at the end of business on Sunday. If you need to get your Del Frisco's fix after that you can still head to Westwood, or one of two Del Frisco's Grille Double Eagle Steakhouse in the Back Bay and Seaport District. For those who had reservations at the two locations after Oct. 20, well, you're out of luck.

According to an article in Forbes online, the private equity firm L Catterton that owns both Del Frisco's Grille and the more high-end Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse is set to close a deal selling them to Landry's.
Del Frisco's opened in November 2013 in Chestnut Hill. They put a modern spin on the classic bar and grill, with a menu that features a mix of steaks, seafood and twists on American comfort cuisine. There are about two dozen locations across the U.S., including in New York and Texas, according to the website.

As for staff, the restaurant said it hopes to place staff from the Burlington and Chestnut Hill locations at other area locations.
"We are incredibly proud of our team and appreciative of their unwavering dedication," said a representative in a message to Patch. "We are partnering with our nearby restaurants to place as many team members as possible."
Most popular on the menu? In 2018 the executive chef said the Cheese Steak Eggrolls, the Filet Mignon and then the cheese burger were the most popular items on the menu.
