Chris Evans' 'Defending Jacob' Filmed In Newton Set To Air
The network is set to release the whole series on Friday, April 24.

NEWTON, MA β Remember last year when camera crews were filming a murder mystery TV series at Cold Spring Park in April and at Zervas Elementary and near the Centre Street MBTA station? Well, it is set to air this week on Apple TV.
The network is set to release the whole series on Friday, April 24.
Author William Landay, a Newton resident, set his 2012 best-seller "Defending Jacob," right here in the city. The show's producers of the crime drama miniseries decided to film here, too.

Landay and his family have lived in Newton Highlands since 2004. The best-selling New York Times author appears to have been just as inspired by his work as an assistant DA in the Middlesex County DA's Office as he was by his surroundings in his hometown.
