Got An Extra Bicycle? Newton Group Hopes You'll Donate It
Newton Neighbors helping Neighbors is helping organize a bicycle drive to get bikes into the hands of young people.

NEWTON, MA β Got an extra bicycle around the garage? A local group is hoping you'll donate them to a good cause.
Newton Neighbors helping Neighbors is co-organizing a bicycle drive this weekend and next weekend. They're collecting new or gently used bikes for children in need. They're also collecting funds to purchase bike helmets and locks for those children.
The goal? Collect 16 bikes for children aged 5 to young adult, and four balance bikes for young learners. They have a list of requested bike sizes along with ages and genders of the young people the bikes will go to. If you have a bike to donate that matches the need, they're asking that you sign up for that item, and indicate what day you'll be able to drop the bike off.
