Hillary Clinton in Newton for Fundraiser Thursday

The Democratic presidential candidate is also in Boston for a fundraiser with Academy Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker.

NEWTON, MA - Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton will stop in Boston and Chestnut Hill to host campaign fundraisers Thursday, with a celebrity assist.

The former first lady, senator and secretary of state will attend a fundraiser at downtown Boston's State Room at 5 p.m., before attending an evening fundraiser at the Chestnut Hill home of philanthropist Stacey Lucchino.

Actor Forest Whitaker joins Clinton for the fundraiser in Boston this afternoon. Whitaker is a women's rights and social justice advocate known for his Academy Award-winning turn in The Last King of Scotland, among many other roles.

It's Clinton's first public appearance in Massachusetts since she won the state primary on Super Tuesday.
