Missing Waltham Man Spotted In Newton; New Details

Carlos Wilfredo Orellana Moya went missing on Thursday.

UPDATED, 1:52 p.m.:Β According to Waltham Police, a witness spotted Moya on Monday trying to get onΒ a bus in Newton Centre to return to Waltham.Β 

Moya is now wearing a yellow shirt, according to police.Β 

NotΒ knowingΒ Moya was missing, the witness gave Moya some cash and a protein bar, according to police. When the witness visited a Dunkin Donuts, he saw a poster about Moya and realized he was missing. The witness then called the family to report the sighting.

Police are still searching for 49-year-old Carlos Wilfredo Orellana Moya, fo Waltham,Β who went missing on Thursday night.

Police released additional details on Tuesday. Anybody with information on Moya's location should police at 781-314-3600.

DETAILS

Β·Β Β Β Β Β  Moya’s left arm is paralyzed.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β  He has several medical issues and possibly brain damage in connection with a prior stroke. He experiences shakes and tremors.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β  He lives with his sister at 85 Charles St in Waltham.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β  He is possibly wearing blue jeans, white sneakers and a white tank top. He was last seen wearing pajamas. He is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, with short black hair and brown eyes.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β  He has lived in Waltham for eight months and previously lived in Tennessee.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β  He does not have any money, credit cards or a cell phone.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β  He also does not have friends or acquaintances in the area with whom he could be staying.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β  He knows his name, but would be unable to find his way home.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β  At 5 a.m. on June 28, Moya’s sister noticed Moya had gone missing sometime during the night.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β  Moya has previously gone missing twice in 2013. In those cases, he was safely located in Watertown and on the Newton/Waltham line.Β
