Monday, July 22
The Newton Parks and Recreation Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Monday with one thing on the agenda: The Fire Station at Nahanton Park. It has been proposed that a temporary fire station be installed during the renovation of Fire Station #10 of Dedham Street.
Tuesday, July 23
Wellcoin month continues with FREE yogurt at Pinkberry at The Street. Stop by between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to learn more about Wellcoin. Mayor Setti Warren will be speaking at 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday, July 24
The Newton Senior Center will host aΒ Community Conversation and follow-up to the screening of "Gen Silent" at 6 p.m.Β Come discuss how the next steps inΒ supporting the LGBT community.
Sunday, July 28
Four Guys in Tuxes will perform at Newton Centre Green beginning at 6:15 p.m. The free concert will featureΒ big band, jazz, Dixie and swing and guests are invited to "dance the night away."
