Located in Chestnut Hill, SimulConsult develops "medical decision support software" that allows doctors and other medical professionals to combine clinical and laboratory findings and get a "simultaneous consult" about diagnosis.Β Β The software also suggests diagnoses and identifies other findings that would help doctors reach a diagnosis, according to the press release.

The SMIR grant program helps small businesses participate in federal research/research development and explore the possibility of commercialization, allowing high-tech innovation and research to grow in the U.S., the press release said.
