Newton Hockey Player Named College Player of the Week

Jackson Brewer of Newton earned the NESCAC Ice Hockey Player of the Week honors after going on a scoring binge.

The junior forward from Trinity College scored three goals and tallied six assists in games against Williams, Middlebury and Becker. Three of the assists came against Middlebury in a 6-3 win. He scored twice against Becker, including the game winner. 

Brewer attended high school at The Rivers School.
