Newton Man Returns Home to Find His Home Being Robbed

A Commonwealth Avenue resident returned home and found his home in the process of being robbed. 

The resident pulled into the driveway and when he went into the house he found a sliding glass door wide open. As he was calling police, he went outside and found the family's televisions lying on the grass behind their home, and a bag with their belongings next to a tree. 

The resident told police he might have heard someone near his fence, near where the bag was dropped. 

Police called in a search dog and canvassed the area, but no suspect was found.
