Newton-Native John Krasinski Brings Back 'Some Good News'
Newton-native and actor John Krasinski brought his YouTube show back for the holiday.

NEWTON, MA β Newton-native and actor John Krasinski released a holiday edition of "Some Good News" Sunday night.
Krasinski started the YouTube series "Some Good News" in March, shortly after the pandemic began with a goal of lifting spirits amid lockdown. The series lasted eight episodes, before he put the project on hold.
He begins his holiday episode by highlighting some less than ego-bolstering fan art. Krasinski then moves on to highlight a girl who got a new puppy, a boy who turned 8, a man who turned 101 and the tear-jerking moment when an entire barbershop shaves their heads in solidarity with a customer getting his shaved so he can undergo cancer treatment.

"It's that time of year again when your heart feels a little warmer and your gestures get a little bigger," Krasinski said. "And everywhere you look, good news is all around you."
Justin Timberlake and George Clooney make quick cameos before Dwayne Johnson and Krasinski highlight a special dad.
