Newton Police Log: Items Taken from Apartment, Tools Removed from Van
The following information was provided by the Newton Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

A Watertown Street resident returned home and found some of her belongings had been taken. A purse was taken from the closet along with a portable DVD player. Some earrings and bracelets along with three small Buddha statues were also taken.
A man reported some tools were taken from a van, including a Milwaukee cordless drill, sawz-all and a battery charger. The van had been at the Education Center on Walnut Street and then went to Newton South High School. The van was left unlocked and unattended at both locations.
