And with it come a whole list of important days for your calendar. Speaking of which, the Newton Public School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar.

• 10/2: First Full Day of Kindergarten Group A
• 10/9: No School (Columbus Day)

November

• 11/2: Elementary and Secondary Schools Afternoon Release
• 11/10: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/22: Early Dismissal (Noon)
• 11/23 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)
