No D Line Trains Through Brookline This Weekend

Shuttle service will operate from Reservoir to Fenway.

The MBTA will shut down train service on much of the D Line this weekend as crews remove a temporary walkway and shield used during most of the T's yearlong renovation of the Dean Road Bridge.

The T will run shuttle buses between Fenway and Reservoir station during the service disruption, which is expected to start early Saturday morning and end by early Monday morning. The T say it does not expect to disrupt service again in the remaining six months of the bridge project.

The pedestrian crossing at Dean Road will also be closed this weekend and pedestrians will be directed to the crossing at Beaconsfield Path. Parking will be restricted along Dean Road, Beaconsfield Road and the Beaconsfield Station lot.
