A Wayland caller reported that a friend was posting suicidal things on Facebook. Police reported the person was saying goodbye to Facebook, and it was a misunderstanding and he was not suicidal.Β http://patch.com/A-23NN

A High Street resident in Acton reported items missing from her porch. The responding officer reported no larceny took place. A trash pickup service went to the porch to get her trash.Β http://patch.com/A-24vH

Cigarette Break-in

A woman reported on Feb. 26 that someone entered her car and smoked a cigarette inside of it while her vehicle was parked on the second floor of Emerson Hospital’s parking garage on Old Road to Nine Acre CornerΒ in ConcordΒ the previous day. The woman said there was no known damage or items taken from the vehicle.Β http://patch.com/A-20KM

Scam Caller Demands $1,200 for Woman's Husband

According to reports, Newton Police responded to a local home where aΒ woman reported that a scam caller said he was holding her husband until she wired $1,200 to Puerto Rico. The caller also demanded the woman stay on the phone while she transferred money. The woman stayed on the phone for five hours, reports said.Β http://patch.com/A-29zt

Yes, That's Kidnapping

A man from Brooklyn, N.Y., picked up a charge of kidnapping in Watertown after he got into a fight with his girlfriend, pushed her out of the car and drove off with her 3-year-old child in the car. Watertown Police located the man and placed him under arrest for multiple charges.Β http://patch.com/A-24XH
