Paul Holtzman Named to American Arbitration Association

Newton resident Paul Holtzman, an attorney at Krokidas & Bluestein, joins the roster of national leaders in alternative dispute resolution.

Boston-based law firm Krokidas & Bluestein LLP is pleased to announce that Attorney and Partner Paul Holtzman has been appointed to the American Arbitration Association’s National Panel of Employment Arbitrators, as well as their National Panel of Mediator Neutrals. Mr. Holtzman, a Newton resident, has extensive experience both as an advocate and a neutral in all forms of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), serving as a mediator in employment and other disputes for the United States District Court, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and through a private mediation practice.

β€œThroughout my career I have seen the value in ADR as an alternative to expensive and time-consuming litigation.” said Holtzman. β€œAs such, it is an honor to be appointed to serve as a mediator and arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association, the world’s leading provider of conflict management and dispute resolution services.”

As a mediator, Mr. Holtzman handles disputes involving all aspects of employment, contract, and civil rights disputes. Matters include individual and class action casesinvolving wage and hour claims, discrimination, harassment, and other employment and civil rights matters, as well as contract and partnership disputes, and disputes regarding non-competition and non-solicitation agreements. As an arbitrator, he adjudicates the full range of employment-related disputes. He works nationally, with his primary focus in the New England area.

The American Arbitration Association (AAA) National Roster of Employment Arbitrators and National Panel of Mediation Neutrals consist of distinguished professionals trained in a comprehensive program by the AAA to manage the dispute resolution process with fairness and skill. Panels are comprised of individuals with diverse experiences across a wide range of fields, including former federal and state judges and attorneys with exceptional subject-matter expertise.
