Pressed Cafe To Open In Newton On Needham Street
Pressed will offer pressed juices, breakfast burritos, quinoa bowls and other fresh, fast food, if the menu mirrors the cafe's other spots.

NEWTON, MA β Smoothies and fresh-made food and Acai bowls and avocado toast may soon be coming to 300 Needham Street near the Chipotle. Pressed Cafe is planning to open in Newton.
It looks like they're hiring now for everything from smoothie makers to managers, according to a job post on Craigslist. And it wants to serve alcohol, too.
The Newton Licensing Board held a public hearing at Newton City Hall on May 21 to talk about that. The plan is to have an outdoor patio and be open from 5 a.m. until 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Konstantinos Logiotatos will be the cafe's manager, according to the license application.

The space is approximately 3,694 sq. feet and has 5 entrances and exits. They're proposing to have seating inside for 84 and for 20 outside.
Remember Fresh City where you could order breakfast burritos, soups, salads, panini, quinoa bowls and smoothies? Well this may just fill the void that that spot left adding pressed juices, coffee and even more vegetarian and vegan and healthy options.

Roi and Miri Schpindler, a married couple, had the idea to take high end ingredients and create fresh food, quickly. The cafe has three other locations, two in New Hampshire and one in Burlington that opened in 2016.
They have classic American, classic Asian flavors and there's Middle Eastern flare, as well. The restaurant has been featured on Phantom Gourmet and on Chronicle.
