UPDATED: Bomb Threat at Newton North High School

NEWTON, MA - Newton North High School received a ”phoned in” bomb threat Monday, according to reports.

Students were reportedly sheltering in place as of about 1:30 p.m., reports said. The shelter in place was lifted and regular school activities had resumed by 2 p.m., police said.

Nothing suspicious was found in the school, according to police.

Bomb threats were also reported at Arlington High School, Boston College High School, East Boston High School and several other schools in the region.
