This Week: Buses to Replace Green Line D for Tree Removal Work

Here's when.

BOSTON – As part of continuing efforts to improve service reliability, crews will perform tree removal work along a section of the Green Line’s Riverside branch, the MBTA said Tuesday.

This will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, and Tuesday, February 2.

During these time periods, buses will replace Green Line trolley service between Newton Highlands and Riverside Stations in both directions.

Buses will also replace Green Line trolley service in both directions between Reservoir and Fenway Stations from the start of service until 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 4.

All shuttle bus stops are accessible for persons with disabilities, the MBTA said.
