• Heritage Festival Concert - Four Guys in Tuxes - The Newton Cultural Council's next Heritage Festival concert takes place Sunday at 6 p.m. on the Newton Centre Green.
• Historic Newton walks: "Voices of Newtonville: A Community’s History Through its Own Eyes" -  Join Historic Newton for a walking tour of Newtonville and take in the village through the words of past residents and historical records. The walk will convene at Newton North High School Sunday, July 28, at 2 p.m.

• Great Plain Squares Summer Dance! - First Parish in Needham Universalist invites Mainstream and Plus dancers to its summer square dance. Cost is $7 and refreshment contributions are appreciated. The caller is Steve Park and the cuer is Harriett Clarke.

• "Blood Brothers," "Almost Maine," "Shrek the Musical," "How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying" - There are an abundance of shows this weekend at Regis College. Showtimes vary and are numerous throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Click the links to each title for details.

• Fun with Butterflies & Dragonflies - The Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary is hosting two butterly and dragonfly programs Saturday, July 27: One for families with children 5 and up (1 p.m.-2:15 p.m.) and the other for adults only (2:30 p.m.-4 p.m.).
