Iconic North Andover Building Eyed For Condos
The town's Historical Society and a local developer want to convert the shuttered Caroline Stevens Rogers building into eight units.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- The town's Historical Society has entered into an agreement with local developer Tom Zahouriko to move forward with a plan to convert the shuttered Caroline Stevens Rogers building on the town common into an eight-unit condominium complex with separate parking garage. The Society owns the building, which would need about $1 million in repairs before the renovation. The building previously housed the American Textile History Museum and the Museum of Printing.
The partnership will take its proposal before the planning board, according to the Eagle Tribune, which first reported this story. The project would likely need approval from town meeting. A preliminary plan shows units ranging in size from 1,600 to 1,900 square feet.
