MA's HBO Mansion, Finally Done, Is Country's Most Popular Listing

This $8 million mansion was the most popular listing on realtor.com over the last week.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- If you've seen the 2013 HBO movie "Clear History" starring Larry David, then you've seen what realtor.com said was the most popular home listing in the whole country this past week. The North Andover home, listed for $7,999,000, is a "decades-in-the-making" mansion.

The 10,000+ square foot property at 440 Great Pond Road was bought in 2002 by a property manager who never finished his vision. The home spent years just sitting there before finally changing ownership, who spent about $15 million on finishing it up, realtor.com said.

The owners spent as much as $2 million on just the windows, while the hand-carved fountains from Italy cost a pretty penny too.
