Boston Marathon Profile: Alison Cosgrove

NORTHBOROUGH, MA — Northborough has nine residents running in this year's Boston Marathon.

Today, we meet Alison Cosgrove, who lives in Northborough, is a Shrewsbury native and teaches in Grafton. Good luck, Alison.

Age: 41

Reason for running: I'm running to support the charity Project Hope. This is a nonprofit organization that supports homeless women and children with housing and educational resources.

Marathon experience: This is my first marathon.

Training Tip: Ignore the doubt that creeps in during training runs and believe in yourself.
