Downtown Road Construction In Town Of Northborough Begins From August 31

Drivers should be prepared for delays while traveling through the downtown area of Northborough. Starting on Monday, August 31, 2020 Eversource will be working to replace the gas main in Main Street between Hudson Street and Church Street over a period of approximately 4 weeks. Drivers should seek alternate routes during this time to avoid this area and the expected delays.

The work will begin on Monday August 31st with the first two weeks of work being performed at night from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM and the second two weeks of work being performed during daytime hours of 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Two lanes for eastbound traffic and one lane for westbound traffic will be open in the morning and two lanes of westbound traffic and one lane for eastbound traffic will be open during the afternoon.
