Kids Coding Center Comes To Northborough Crossing
The center uses game-based curriculum to teach teamwork, logic, math, and problem solving as well as coding.
NORTHBOROUGH, MA — Northborough Crossing will have a smart new tenant in August, Code Ninja. The business is an educational center that uses game-based curriculum to teach teamwork, logic, math, and problem solving as well as coding to kids. This will be the first Code Ninja center to open in the MetroWest.
The center signed a lease with the open-air shopping center on Thursday, it plans to open it's doors on August 1. Northborough Crossing has eight other tenants on the strip including St. Vincent Medical Group, Pure Barre, Sport Clips, Margaritas, Jimmy Johns, Mooyah Burger and Fries, Med Post Urgent Care and U-Break I Fix.
Code Ninja's space is 1,683 square feet. According to the businesses website, Code Ninja prides itself on providing kids with "a safe and encouraging environment to gain the skills they need for a brighter future."

Programs include drop-in sessions to sharpen coding abilities, parent's night out which includes board games, robotics and lighthearted coding and camps.
Code Ninja also recently opened new locations in Wellesley, Medfield, and Canton.

Northborough Crossing is over 650,000 square feet in total. Located at the intersection of Route 9 and Route 20, it is anchored by Wegmans, BJ's Wholesale Club, TJ Maxx, Homesense, and Kohls. Northborough Crossing also includes 375 Avalon apartments, medical space, restaurants and fitness centers
