Martinek & Ziton Release Campaign Platform and Priorities
Candidates for Re-Election to the Northborough Planning Board offer voters insight amid pandemic limitations to meeting in person

How do you get to know your candidates during an election where a pandemic has limited the ability to meet in person or simply grab a cup of coffee and talk?
Kerri Martinek and Anthony Ziton, candidates for re-election to the Planning Board, are rising to the challenge by creating insightful tools to help voters get to know them better.
One such tool has been their Questions for the Candidates video series. In this series, voters can submit questions that Martinek and Ziton will answer each week in a recorded video that they share on their website and Facebook page.

Other tools that voters can rely on to learn more information include the Track Record of Results infographic where voters can visualize their roadmap of accomplishments. Recently, the campaign released their Platform and Priorities, a one page overview of where the candidates stand and action items they have accomplished over the last three years to support each priority area.
"We know that most residents want to be educated voters when they go to the polls on May 11th," said Ziton, candidate for re-election. "We're proud of our track record and our priorities and want as many voters as possible to be able to access that information."

"I think the voters are missing those in-person opportunities to meet the candidates, as it's hard to get to really know someone through a computer screen," added Martinek. "We're trying to overcome that barrier by providing as much insight as possible on who we are, what we've been doing, and then give anyone the opportunity to ask questions."
