Motivational Speaker Coming To Algonquin Regional High

NORTHBOROGUH, MA- Students at Algonquin Regional High School will have a special guest speaker on Friday.

Cara Filler, a motivational speaker, will come to the school and talk to students about peer pressure and navigating difficult situations. Drawing from an immense personal tragedy in her own life, Cara’s inspiring presentation focuses on overcoming life’s speed bumps and road blocks, avoiding negative risks and being unique.

The event is hosted by the TASC club – Take Action, See Change, which helps to sponsor events and information for students to make informed choices around the many obstacles they face in their daily lives. This event has been made possible using donations from Karen Scopetski, the Worcester County D.A.’s office, and Lamy Automotive.
