New Amazon Sorting Facilities Come To Northborough, Milford
Three sorting centers are opening between the two towns, bringing a total of 2,000 new jobs.

NORTHBOROUGH, MA — Amazon launched two new sorting centers in Northborough and Milford, with another to come in Northborough later this year.
Milford already has an Amazon warehouse in town that experienced a hiring promotion in September, offering $1,000 signing bonuses for new hires. The new sorting facility is located at 1 National Street.
Northborough's new sorting facility is located at 350 Bartlett Street and a second facility is planned to open on the same street later in 2020.

Together, the three sort centers will create more than 2,000 full-time and part-time associate jobs, all paying at least $15.00 per hour, according to Amazon. The company estimates the Milford center will bring approximately 750 new jobs and the two Northborough centers will bring approximately 1,400 new jobs.
Employees will sort packages before they are transferred to a delivery station or last-mile delivery partner for final delivery to customers.

Amazon is bringing back sign-on bonuses to bring new employees into the facilities in Milford and Northborough — the company is offering up to $2,000 signing bonuses for new hires.
Amazon is also planning on opening an AMXL delivery station in East Taunton in the first half of 2021. The company said the AMXL delivery station will expand large product delivery offerings to customers in Bristol County and create approximately 100 new jobs paying at least $15.00 per hour.
