New Mattress Firm Store Comes To Northborough Crossing

NORTHBOROUGH, MA — A plushy new business is coming to the Northborough Crossing shopping center this fall. Mattress Firm is opening it's new store in the shopping center. This will be the first Mattress Firm store to open in town.

While there's no hard date for the store's grand opening, Mattress Firm is shooting for a fall opening. The store will be a first for the town, with the only other closest Mattress Firm store in Marlborough.

This will be the second storefront to open in the shopping center in two months. In July, Code Ninja, a kid coding center, announced it would open in the center in August.

Mattress firm has grown to be America’s largest specialty mattress retailer. The company offers a broad selection of mattresses and bedding accessories from leading manufacturers and brand names, including including Serta, Simmons, tulo, Sleepy’s, Purple and Chattam & Wells.

There are over 2,500 Mattress Firm locations across 49 states. As of 2018, the company employs more than 8,500 employees across the country.

Northborough Crossing is over 650,000 square feet in total. Located at the intersection of Route 9 and Route 20, it is anchored by Wegmans, BJ's Wholesale Club, TJ Maxx, Homesense, and Kohls. Northborough Crossing also includes 375 Avalon apartments, medical space, restaurants and fitness centers.
