Northborough Community Affairs Committee Announces Free Summer Concerts

From the Northborough Community Affairs Committee:

The Northborough Community Affairs Committee is pleased to announce the return of our free Summer Concert Series for 2016. All concerts will be held on Thursdays at Ellsworth-McAfee Park (Rt. 135) in Northborough from 6 - 8 pm. New this year, we will be having Food Truck Nights on July 28 and August 11. Here is our line up:

Beatles for Sale - Thursday, June 30, 6 pm
Rain date Sunday July 3, 5 to 7 pm

Beatles for Sale is an award-winning, New England-based Beatles tribute band that is committed to recreating the sounds of the Beatles live in concert. Northborough House of Pizza will be selling pizza, Yummy Mummy Brownies will be selling delicious baked goods, and the Face Escape will be available to paint children’s faces.

Mychael David Project - Thursday, July 14, 6 pm

Rain date Sunday, July 17, 5 to 7 pm
Northboro Native Mychael David, his band is a mix of rockin' country, rhythm and blues combined with a lot of class. Northborough House of Pizza will be selling pizza and Cocobeni Confections will be selling delicious baked goods.

Hit the Bus - Thursday, July 28, 6 pm

Rain date Sunday, July 31, 5 to 7 pm
Hit the Bus plays an eclectic mix of music ranging from the 50's to Today.

FOOD TRUCK NIGHT: We will have the following Food Trucks at the concert; The Cod Squad, Boston Trolley Dogs and Press'n It. Yummy Mummy Brownies will be selling delicious baked goods. The Face Escape will be available to paint children’s faces.

Eclipse - Thursday, August 11, 6 pm

Rain date Sunday, August 21, 5 to 7 pm
Eclipse is a Boston based band that covers everything from Pink Floyd and Paul Simon to Jason Aldean and Stone Temple Pilots, the Killers to U2, Kiss and Gin Blossoms.

Food Truck Night: We will have the following Food Trucks at the concert: Say Cheese, Archies On a Roll, and Bit’Chin BBQ​. Cocobeni Confections will be selling delicious baked goods. There will be a balloon artist to entertain the children.
