Northborough Downtown Construction Starts

NORTHBOROUGH, MA — Commuters, beware. Construction on several roads in downtown Northborough starts on Monday. Anyone driving through downtown Norhtborough should expect delays.

Eversource will be working to replace the gas main in Main Street between Hudson Street and Church Street. The work is set to take about four weeks. The first two weeks of work will take place at night from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and the second two weeks of work will take place during the day from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Two lanes for eastbound traffic and one lane for westbound traffic will be open in the morning and two lanes of westbound traffic and one lane for eastbound traffic will be open during the afternoon.
