The area won't be part of Matthew's path, as the weekend calls for a chance of showers but also sunshine.
NORTHBOROUGH, MA—The weekend isn't a washout, but does call for a chance of showers. It'll be a bit warmer than last weekend, with Friday inching toward the upper 70s.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 79.

Saturday: A chance of showers, mainly after 3 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 70.
